About the role

As a service advisor at Niemi Bil in Umeå, you will work administratively at our workshop on Formvägen. Here, we work with the cars we purchase and sell from our various facilities across the country. In your role, you will be in contact with customers and help them book the right service for their car. You ensure that each person receives a safe and helpful response that exceeds their expectations.

You will work in a close-knit team, where team spirit and helpfulness are the most important, and where our good reputation among our customers is our greatest pride!

Your work is as varied as the people you will meet, and above all, it is very developing both technically and personally. You will be given the space to learn new things every day.

Who are you applying?

We hope you have a strong interest and curiosity about cars, regardless of brand, and that you are mechanically inclined. However, this is not a requirement; the most important thing is that you are friendly, helpful, and service-oriented.

You are good at communicating and are willing to help both customers and your colleagues. This is important as you will be working closely with our sales facilities in Umeå.

You are good at handling people in all types of situations, whether they are happy, dissatisfied, or frustrated. You value high-quality service and have great patience when it comes to understanding customers' wishes. You have the calmness to learn about the customer and gain insight into their problems.

You enjoy working both independently and together with a close-knit team. Personal service and good customer interaction will be an important part of the role.

As a person, we value that you are positive, goal-oriented, and see opportunities rather than obstacles. You should also be meticulous, able to keep many balls in the air, and have the ability to adapt to new situations.

Key competencies/abilities

  • Driver's license B
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Experience in the automotive industry is preferred.

Desirable competencies (not required)

  • Relevant automotive education
  • Previous work experience as a mechanic or in the workshop industry
